where to stay
Grand Hyatt Tokyo - The Grand Hyatt is situated in Roppongi, a fantastic area filled with restaurants, bars, and shops. Its central location means that most attractions are only a 10-minute drive away. Meanwhile, at night upon your return, the hotel is surrounded by a variety of restaurants within walking distance. This makes it incredibly convenient to unwind and dine after a day of exploring. The breakfast at the hotel is outstanding, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it included as part of my Amex travel incentive. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable, and I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt for anyone visiting Tokyo!
Hotel Mitsui Kyoto - Located near Nijo Castle, this hotel blends traditional Japanese elegance with modern luxury. Featuring a natural hot spring onsen, Michelin-starred dining, and serene gardens, it offers an intimate and refined base for exploring Kyoto's rich culture. This is an ideal place to stay if you are seeking a memorable and tranquil stay in the heart of the city.
